These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Electronic Recycling Association (“ERA”, “we”, “us”) website and services. By using this site or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms.

Our services

ERA provides electronics reuse, refurbishment, donation, recycling and secure data-destruction services. Service availability, coverage areas, timelines and any fees may vary and are confirmed with you directly for each request.

Requests and submissions

When you submit a pickup, donation or other request, you agree to provide accurate information. Submitting a request does not create a binding service agreement until we confirm it. We may decline or limit service at our discretion.

Data destruction and equipment

• You represent that you are authorised to transfer the equipment you provide to us and to authorise destruction of any data on it.
• We perform data wiping or physical destruction in line with our published process and issue documentation where applicable. You are responsible for retaining any data you need before handing over equipment.
• Donated equipment is provided on an “as is” basis to recipients through our community donation programmes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, graphics, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to ERA and may not be reproduced without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ERA is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
