Ā mātou ratonga · What we do
Secure pickup, inventory, tracking and reporting for businesses and organisations.
On-site shredding or secure data wiping with certificates and serial number reporting.
Responsible recycling that keeps e-waste out of landfill — including free prepaid NZ Post mail-back labels for residents and remote workers, NZ-wide.
We refurbish and donate technology to schools, not-for-profits and individuals in need.
More than recycling
Kaitiakitanga · Guardianship
The Ministry for the Environment estimates New Zealand produces 80,000–101,000 tonnes of e-waste every year, and that around 98% ends up in landfill or is disposed of improperly. E-waste is a declared priority product, but a regulated product-stewardship scheme is still being developed — which makes reuse-first recycling a practical way to act now.

Our global network
For more than 20 years, ERA has kept technology in use across five continents. Aotearoa New Zealand doesn’t just benefit from this network — it feeds it, collecting equipment that becomes opportunity for a student, a charity, or a community somewhere in the world.
Now in Aotearoa
An Auckland facility for secure processing and refurbishment opened in 2026, with pickup coverage in Wellington and Christchurch. Donation applications are open to organisations in the Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury regions — and the free NZ Post mail-back programme reaches every corner of the country.
